On 4th October 1996 Nairobi, against Sri Lanka, batted at No 3 and it was his first Innings, he smashed his career first and World fastest ODI hundred off just 37 balls. During this innings, he hit 11 massive sixes and 6 Fours at a strike rate of 272.97 standing on the crease for 44 minutes. In this match, he was out on 102 runs by Silva.

In April 2005 at Kanpur during the 5th ODI of the Series between Pakistan and India. India batting first and set a total of 250 runs to Pakistan.
Shahid Afridi Opened Innings for Pakistan and smashed World Second fastest Hundred just off 45 balls and shares the record with Brian Lara who also achieved it on 46 balls. It was Shahid Afridi's career 4th Hundred and world's second-fastest hundred. During this innings, he completes his century with 94 runs with boundaries included 9 splendid Sixes and 11 fours with a strike rate of 226.67. He was bowled by Harbhajan Singh on 102 runs.
His inning helps Pakistan to beat India by 5 wickets.
