The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a domesticTwenty20 Cricket tournament in India organized by the Governing Council, under the supervision of the Board of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI). It is the most-watched Twenty20 League and the second-best paying sports league globally.

The IPL  was started in 2008 by the  (BCCI) To promote and introduce competition in Cricket. The IPL is consists of 8 teams named in different cities of India.  

The IPL tournament involves each team playing every other team twice in a Home and Away. On the basis of the points table, four-team qualified for the playoff.

Till 2020 thirteen editions have been completed. Rajasthan Royals have won the first edition of IPL held in 20028.

Mumbai Indian is the most Successful team of Ipl having won five titles. Chennai Super king had won three Times, Kolkata Knight Riders had won 2 times while Rajasthan Royal, Deccan Chargers, and Sunrise Hyderabad had 1,1 Times the Title of IPL.
