World Cup 2011 Final / Ind vs SL 2011 Cricket Final
The 2011 World Cup was the 10th Edition of the ICC World Cup. This world cup was Co-hosted by India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
Total 14 teams had participated in that world cup with 4 Associate teams as Kenya, Canada, Netherland Land, Ire Land.
The 2011 Cricket World Cup Final was a One Day International (ODI) match played between India and Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, India on 2 April 2011, Saturday. it was the first time that these two teams had met each other at this stage in the tournament history. India had won this match by 6 wickets and won the title for the Second Time as they won in 1983.

After that India became the third team after Australia and West Indies to win once than more time.
In the Semi-Final, India had its Rival defeated Pakistan by 29 runs. While Sri Lanka had defeated new Zealand by 5 wickets.

Sri Lankan innings :
As Sri Lankans had won the toss and bat first. Sri Lanka started batting slowly because of Zaheer khan's brilliant 5 overs spell in which he got Upul Tharanga on 17 runs wicket and also maiden his three-over.
Then Harbhajan out Dilshan on 33 runs and Sri Lanka was now at 2-60. Both Mahalia Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara were at Crease and played very well but Kumar Sangakkara was caught behind by Dhoni on 48 Score. Sri Lanka at that position 3-122.The next two batsmen Kapugedra and Thilan Samaraweera out very quickly. But Jayawardene on the other hand played brilliantly and completed his century 103 Runs off 88 balls. So the last two batsmen Kulasekara and Thisara Parera played very well and reached Sri Lanka 274/6.

Indian Innings :
Indian while Chasing a target of 275, both Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar both dismissed early by Lasith Malinga at just 31 runs. Then Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir started the recovery with some extraordinary stroke and quick running between wickets, taking India to 114 before and Virat Kohli was caught on 35 individual scores by Dilshan. Both Kohli and Gambir make a partnership of 85 runs.
Then Captain Ms. Dhoni came to the crease and Added 109 runs to his team innings with Gambir and gambir was out on 97 runs by Thisara Parera. at that stage, 52 runs were required off 52 balls and Yuvraj Singh came to the crease and play a vital role with his captain to finish the game. when 4 Run were required off11 balls Ms. Dhoni hit A six to Nuwan Kulasekara and Finished his inning his stylish way and make India Champion for the Second time in ODI World Cup Cricket History.
