T2O World Cup of 2009 took place in England and won by the Pervious Runner-up of the 2007 tournament Pakistan. In the Final at Lord’s, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets and became the Second Team on the Icc T20 World Cup winners list. Sri Lanka bat First and make 139/6. Pakistan easily chased it on 2 wickets with Shahid Afridi 54* runs.

ICC T20 World Cup of 2010 was hosted by West Indies and won by England. In the Final at Barbados, England beat its rival Australia by 7 wickets and added their name to T20 World Cup winners.
Australia makes a target of 148 runs to England and easily chased in 17 overs by England.

Sri Lanka hosted the 2012 T20 World Cup which was won by West Indies by 36 runs. The Caribbean team Defeated the host Sri Lanka by 36 runs, in the Final at Colombo.
West Indies make an easy chasuble target of 137 runs, on the other hand, West Indian Bowlers make it difficult for Sri Lanka and restricted to 101 runs. It was the Second Defeat for the Sri Lankan team in Icc T20 World Cup Tournaments.

When Next T2o World Cup:
According to the ICC, the next Icc T20 World Cup is scheduled in India in 2021. This event was previously hosted by Australia in 2021 but due to the Covid-19 pandemic
It was replaced by 2021 ICC Men’s World Cup 2021 But there may be a chance that this tournament will be held in other venues rather than India and the next World Cup 2023 will be held in Australia.
